This movie is one of the best I've seen so far in the past few years. I give it a very high rating and would love to see more movies in the future by the director Robert Rodriguez.

Most of what happens in the movie is life-like almost real. The characters are so believable and creative. Almost god-like in it's entirety.

This is a must see. Watch it twice if you missed anything. Or rewind a bit, and then play back. The action scenes are choreographed in such a way that you would think only selling your soul could get you that good. But I believe Rodriguez did so without that, since he's a man of heart. As is the storyline of this movie.

Okay, first things first. I had seen Desperado, but had never seen El Mariachi. I was a smidgen skeptical, this being the last in the trilogy, but saw the cast on the box and figured, hey, it's probably worth a gamble. Well, I had to donate plasma, which, since I am a busy person, was going to be a pleasant and welcome opportunity.

Well, I laid down in the big burgundy recliner they so generously allowed me to lay in and popped in the UMD. And mind my French, but-Johnny Depp is the SHIT! I mean, I love the part (spoiler ahead) where he gets his eyes plucked out and he still saves the day with blood running down where his eyes were. Just fucking awesome. I think this sequel is definitely better the first one, without a doubt. All this action on one tiny but so huge at the same time-screen. Takes your breath away to see this much going on at once.
