This game is packed with music for all types of people of the current generation, and the game play and graphics are very fresh and fluid.
You can build your car up so that it performs better, and there are a few different types of cars to choose from. Aside from that you are able to visually customize the car to give it the flair that you can't afford to pay for on your real car.
The tracks are excellently layed out, and the reactions of other vehicles when you pass by are well designed. Some cars will honk their horn at you if you cut them off or drive on the wrong side of the road. Many will slow down or stop in from of you cause they are hoping you will go around them and don't want to get smashed into.
I just hope I can build my car up to a position where it's not so slippery on the tracks doing corners. I've rolled my car a few times, and once it hit a vehicle, rolled, and landed back on it's tires where I was able to continue driving. If only I could do that with my real life car, I would try that at least once. Talk about pulse racing and brain exploding.

Grass is your friend, you can drive over the grass to bypass curves in the tracks, but be aware that unlike Ridge Racer, the other cars know about this too, and they will tend to do the same at times.
Drive through fences and garage doors, as they may lead to secret sections of the tracks that will allow you to bypass other parts and give you an advantage over the other cars.
Trees are good. Just don't drive directly into them. When you see a group of trees near the track in the grass, drive between them, and skip driving on the track. It will give you a slight shortcut and a speed/time advantage. |

I rented this game a few weeks ago and meant to do a review but, alas, the factory needs me on a daily basis, and even when I get home at midnight I'm banging out a game of Lumines before I go to bed. But here it is, your Need for Speed PSP review.
First and foremost, the customization of the cars. I love cars. I went to a car show by myself today I love them so much. And then I got out of work early, happy I could write this review! Well, you can pretty much pimp out your car just about as much as you want without having an amp and a couple of subs in the trunk. Very good looking locales included, and you have yourself a nice day, Mister!
And the nitrous. Oh, the nitrous. When you open that bottle of nitrous, it's time to play "Crimson and Clover" by Tommy James and the Shondells, cuz that shit looks like someone just sucked on an Acid tab or something. We're talkin' WHOA! Psychadelic!
But all in all, I like the game. I kind of wish that real damage could happen to the car and if you destroyed your car you'd have to start from scratch (That would add to the challenge a pinch). Other than that, this game is sweet. I love it. I'm personally holding out for Midnight Club: Dub edition myself. Enjoy those PSPs!
