This game reminds me a bit of Crash Bandicoot with the camera angles and such, which is my favorite series for the PlayStation, but other than that, this game is in it's own element. Pun intended, cause this game is nothing but mercury, and solving puzzles with said mercury. This game is easy at first, cause you start out with the "Tutorial" levels before you can advance to the next realm. After you complete the boss levels on each course, you will advance to the next realm.

You sometimes have to split your mercury blob into parts to get it to touch two seperate color painters, before rejoining it again to form a third color out of the two halves to be able to get to the end of the level or to even begin them.

It's a madhouse of temperature rising as you run around the walls with your mercury blob trying to avoid being eaten by the crazy eating machines.

If you don't like this game, you must be running a fever. Best for you to put your PSP away and sleep it off. This game rocks and rolls it's way into my heart. It's an instant addiction. It's very well comparable to the lovingness of Lumines and Tetris, this game is a must for puzzle lovers and PSP owners.

I bought this game for Joel, but I think I'm addicted. Might end up having to go to the store again to get him another copy.

I had heard a lot of good things about this so-called Mercury game for the PSP, some even saying it's better than Lumines. I have to say, hearing that I was shocked, and when Xeon handed me this delightful UMD to pop in, I had to see for myself.

The cut-scenes are gorgeous. The liquid mercury is so cool looking when you split it and you can paint it and mix colors. Frickin' awesome. You're given a lot of fairly easy, straightforward levels to start off with, and if it weren't for the help tips you're given at the beginning of the level, you'd be screwed.

I had a lot of fun playing Mercury. Is it "better" than Lumines? No. This game is more of an acquired taste, whereas Lumines is good for the mainstream/general populace anytime, anywhere. Mercury though, teases the brain a little more, but once you're done with Mercury, the replay value I'd say is pretty much chopped.

To its credit, though, there is a lot of originality to the title, and if you're looking for something different, it will more than likely not disappoint.
